Overview
As proprietary managers, Valuecap does not manage third party funds and only manages for its shareholders.
Based on the asset allocation policy adopted by the Board, Valuecap deploys various strategies/styles to provide superior long-term returns to its shareholders regardless of market direction through its long-term investment approach to investing.
Presently operating within a domestic, listed-equities-centric mandate, Valuecap invests primarily in equity securities that in its opinion offer the potential for capital growth. Though Valuecap generally invests in companies of large market capitalizations, it may invest in companies of any size. Additionally, while Valuecap generally expects to invest across a broad range of industries, it may favour companies in those industries that appear to offer higher potential for long-term growth.
Although a combination of styles is employed, the Company primarily adopts a “value” approach to investing premised upon its opinions on the fair values of stocks – fundamentals-based and rigorously filtered seeking to exploit price inefficiencies to add value to its portfolios whilst looking to ensuring superior long term performance.
